The High Court today (November 9, 2022) directed the district administration of Cox’s Bazar to take necessary measures to protect the “natural characters” of the sea beach and to stop further construction there.
The HC bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil delivered the order after disposing of a contempt of court petition in this regard. Read more on The Daily Star
