The BNP today alleged that when a government is desperate to stay in power, it reaches a stage where it forgets about the people of the country.
“To stay in power, they started killing, disappearing people, and torturing. Bangladesh is now in that situation. The whole of Bangladesh has now turned into a prison,” the party’s standing committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan said at a programme at Dhaka Reporters Unity, organised to demand the release of party leaders.Read more on The Daily Star
